Edwin Arifianto, researcher in the field of Digital and Cultural Communication studies that focuses on ICT4D (Information and Communication Technology for Development) and Smart City initiatives.  According to Edwin, the notion of the humanities and social perspective has always been forgotten in the rapid growth of overly techno-centric developments. Presenting the humanities approach to technology that exists among human life is very important. In the IDF 2019, Edwin will present his ideas related to the approach in the presentation entitled "Transforming Smart Citizen in Indonesia: Visualizing Best Practices from Five Smart City Cases ". Edwin is currently a researcher at the University of Sydney.
