Greg Vines is the Director- General, International Labor Organization (ILO). Mr Vines has a career at the level of strategic management and executives in Australia and internationally. The focus of his work is labor relations, organizational and workplace change, governance, and human resource management. In 2012, Vines served as Minister (Labor) with the Australian Permanent Mission for the United Nations and President of the Governing Body of the ILO in Geneva, Switzerland. He is also the spokesperson for 42 ILO member countries from the Asia and Pacific region and represents Australia in the G20, and other multilateral forums on labor issues. Vines practices lawyers and has studied law, management and employment relations in Australia and the United States.
