Hana, begitu ia biasa dipanggil, mendirikan Threadapeutic untuk menghadirkan kerajinan tangan ramah lingkungan, seperti tas dan hiasan dinding. Uniknya, semua barang terbuat dari kain perca bekas yang dijahit dengan rapat, kemudian disisir sehingga tampak berbulu—sebuah teknik yang bernama faux chenille. Threadapeutic terpilih sebagai salah satu brand yang terlibat dalam Rising 50: Singapore-Indonesia Design Bazaar, yang dihelat Design Singapore Council bersama dengan Shophouse & Co pada November 2017, di National Design Centre, Singapura.

Nagawati Surya, founder of Threadapeutic recycled material bag business. Hana, as she is usually called, founded Threadapeutic to present eco-friendly handicrafts, such as bags and wall decorations. Uniquely, all the items are made from tightly sewn patchwork, then combed so that they look hairy — a technique called faux chenille. Threadapeutic was chosen as one of the brands involved in Rising 50: Singapore-Indonesia Design Bazaar, held by the Design Singapore Council together with Shophouse & Co in November 2017, at the National Design Center, Singapore.
