THE IMPACT OF MENTORING IN CHANGE PROJECT TO PUBLIC ORGANISATION The practice of mentoring in private organization is familiar to improve the quality of human resource management. According to Turner (2012), mentoring is enable to improve the performance of human resource in a company. Further, mentoring activities not only contribute performance mentee, but also organization (Martoredjo: 2015). In mentoring, organizations can observe their employees closer or more personally and get personal information as well as their needs at work so that the organization can meet the goal of individual and organization goals (Allen et al in Sharma, 2017). Unfortunately, mentoring in government institution to improve the quality of civil servants is not as popular as in private. Just a few years ago, mentoring has been inserted in a new training programmed in Diklatpim (Diklat Kepemimpinan) for those who want to be promoted. Unfortunately, the applied mentoring is just for graduation requirements, not a part of an organisation system yet in human resource development. Therefore, the aim of this research was to find out the impact of mentoring on change project for alumni of PKP2A II LAN Makassar.
