Community Based Development to Strengthen the Role of Local Government

The development of education system has brought different perspective on how people see the role of local government. The limitation of access to engage more capacities have been significantly able to influence government’s way in making policies. It is why the local government needs to collaborate with outside stakeholders to run the role of the government properly. Community based development basically provides an access to everyone who wants to make an economic opportunity and elevating their capacity through developing skills and knowledge. Moreover, the involvement of youth can effectively penetrate new inside of technology and information which can help community organizer to make new innovations which is able to produce multiplier effects on economic, education and public policy. Community is the engine room of people powered change especially in identifying people’s need. It also has unique role to play when it comes to much of what we most value. Moreover, community possess the local knowledge, passion, creativity, sustainability and holistic perspective that are often lacking in bureaucracies. The result of this project is that communities can be able to support local government to develop local potential in term of micro economy and youth potential. It is needed to engage people becoming more capable to face future’s challenges. Furthermore, it hopefully will be an access for young generation to get into competitive atmosphere in developing knowledge and leadership skill.
