Digital Economy Existence Against MSME’s Growth

MSME has proven tough and less volatile to global and domestic fluctuation, absorb more employment, and contribute to socio-economy. Nevertheless, in terms of growth scale, MSME are way more complex. The micro enterprises hardly shift the scale to small enterprise, so does the small to medium. In that manner, this study tries to unlock the potential of digital economy amidst MSME’s growth. The question that we proposed is whether the existence of digital platform help MSME to grow and contribute to revenue as well. Thus, the descriptive statistics and z-test method is conducted to enhanced the analysis samples. Expected result would revealed the significant change of digital platform usage to MSME’s growth and further employed as basis of the forecasting, assuming it is incorporated in regional policies. Eventually, this study may contribute to the enhancement strategy of MSME and regional development in the moment of Indonesian’s involvement in global and regional economic integration so that MSME can compete with other countries.
