Fortunately, Transit-Oriented-Development (TOD) approach has been placed to solve urban mobility problems in big cities, such as current MRT-LRT development in Jakarta. The integration within residential and commercial area delivers more convenience mobility. The successfulness in developing public transportation in big cities could be adapted in villages or small cities with specific adjustments. In addition, the current trends in ride-sharing indicate that public transportation infrastructure should be improved. The experts also mentioned that ride-sharing is not a sustainable solution to tackle urban mobility, although it is good enough to improve the income. On the other hand, maximizing current public transportation is alternative strategy to support mobility. In general, small cities are dominated by mini-bus or angkuta as its public transportation which not required advance infrastructure. The boarder connectivity and larger amount of modes will make human mobility more convenience and affordable. In addition, technology and good management are also required to support the existence of local public transportation in order to fulfill the higher demand in the future.
