Steven Tabor

Economist

Dr. Steven Tabor serves as an expert advisor to the Minister of Bappenas, supported by DFAT and the KOMPAK project. He has a Phd in economics from the Free University of Amsterdam, and a MSc in economics and Southeast Asian studies from Cornell University. He has thirty- five years of development assistance exoerience, and has worked for World Bank, Asian Development Bank and a number of other bilateral and multilateral organizations. Mr. Tabor was the country director of the Asian Development Bank in Indonesia in 2015 and 2016, and prior to that, he led the advisory firm, Economic Management Services International, which provided support in public finance, development planning and policy formulation to more than thirty emerging economies worldwide.
