Glenn Maail is research manager at the Web Foundation’s Open Data Lab Jakarta, with expertise in technology and public policy, backed by years of experiences in various multinational telecommunications companies. His current research focuses on the role of information technologies including open data in enabling citizen participation to achieve better transparency and public service delivery, particularly at the local level. His recent research is published in an edited volume entitled “Innovative ICT-enabled Services and Social Inclusion” (Routledge, UK). Glenn holds a Ph.D. in Information Systems from The University of Melbourne, Australia wherein he did his Doctoral Research on the field of “Information and Communication Technology for Development”.
