Matondang Elsa Siburian is an officer of Directorate General of Taxes (DGT), Indonesia Ministry of Finance.
She has been stationed in local tax office, regional tax office and the headquarter of DGT. She holds bachelor degree from State College of Accounting (Sekolah Tinggi Akuntansi Negara, Indonesia), Master of Economics from Yokohama National University (Japan) and Master of Arts in Public Policy from National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS, Japan). Presently, she is a PhD student in Graduate School of Economics in Waseda University (Japan) under Indonesian Government Scholarship (LPDP). Her research interest is in Fiscal Decentralization, Income Distribution, Regional Economic Growth, and Heterogenous/Diverse Society.
