Amanda is Deputy Director of the Australia Indonesia Partnership for Economic Governance (AIPEG). Prior to this role Amanda worked for the as Deputy Chief of Staff to the Australian Federal Treasurer and Deputy Prime Minister in the former government and has over 9 years experience with the Australian Federal Treasury. Amanda’s experience in public policy includes expertise in public financial management, governance and development economics. Her experience internationally includes as Senior Adviser in the Treasury of Papua New Guinea from 2006 to 2008, in New York advising World Vision and most recently in the Directorate General of Budgets in Indonesia. Amanda also founded a private economic consultancy firm based in Sydney called Equity Economics in 2013. Amanda holds a Bachelor of Economics and Master of Laws.
